Unfortunately my apetite for reading has put my parents through hell.
We've moved my whole life, and every time the moving trucks arrive, a quarter of the space is used for my book collection. After two decades of torture for my parents, and two years of my mother's nagging, I finally bought a Nook.
We've moved my whole life, and every time the moving trucks arrive, a quarter of the space is used for my book collection. After two decades of torture for my parents, and two years of my mother's nagging, I finally bought a Nook.
The verdict: I love it. It's light, and can store up to a thousand books. The charge lasts up to a month so I don't have to worry about bringing it on long flights. It also has a Glowlight so I can read in the dark. The best part is that it still feels like I'm reading a BOOK. I was so worried that by going electronic I would lose the experience but it's pretty similar. Nooks use e-ink so it looks like you're reading off a physical page without any screen reflection. You can also lend the book to another Nook owner for about a week. Instead of dog earing, you just tap your finger and you can pick up where you left off later.
There are so many features I decided to just give a "tour" in my video below. If you decide to switch to an eBook, I highly recommend the Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight. If you have any questions or need advice, feel free to leave a comment or send a tweet!
